Orkney Raised Band Viking Runic Ring in White & Yellow Gold

Stunning mixed precious metal blend ring with a raised 9ct yellow gold band over a 9ct white gold main band.

Made in Orkney and inspired by inscriptions found throughout the island from the Scandinavian/Nordic age when the Norsemen colonised Scotland's Northern Isles. The inscription reads ‘health and happiness’ in runic writing, the ancient script which spread into Scotland during the Viking age.
