Sterling silver ring with luckenbooth design. The luckenbooth is a historic Scottish design and is named after the locked booths, where jewellers' sold their wares in The Royal Mile of Edinburgh. Often given as a love token, legends claim that Mary Queen of Scots gifted a luckenbooth to Lord Darnley. The luckenbooth was passed down through families, from mother to daughter.
